Pacifica prices for Canadians

by David Zatz on

Reliable source “Ram Man” followed up Moparian’s lead by providing prices for the Chrysler Pacifica in Canada, exclusive of destination and other taxes.

The Pacifica is a niche minivan in Canada, where the Dodge Caravan dominates the market and Chrysler has only a minor share. Therefore, the company is not releasing the base models just yet, but is starting at the high-end Touring-L — an odd designator for a country with no Touring model.

The Touring-L will list for C$43,995 (US$32,849 at today’s exchange rates).  That includes the nine-speed, V6, leather, 12-way driver’s seat, three power doors, triple-zone auto temperature control, Stow ’n’ Go seats, active noise cancellation, floor mats, window shades, the 3.5 inch trip computer, five-inch stereo, USB media input, ambient lighting, tilt/telescope steering column, garage door opener, fog lamps, heated mirrors, roof-rails, remote and pushbutton starter,  backup camera, eight airbags, alarm, and grille shutters.

Moving up to the L Plus adds $3,000 (with SafetyTec, upgraded seating, 8.4 inch screen, and other features). The Limited, with Nappa leather, power rear seat, hands-free doors, upgraded interior, and other features, rings the register at $52,995 (US$39,569 — less than the US price).  The Limited appears to be the same as the US Limited Platinum.
