WPC Museum re-opening

by David Zatz on

Some years ago, the Walter P. Chrysler Museum closed to the public except on rare special occasions, such as the Chrysler Employee Motorsports Association’s annual car show.

Now, the Museum will be re-opening for weekend public access, though not on a fully regular basis. The first opening days will be April 23-24, from 10 am to 4 pm, for the FCA Family & Friends Open House Weekend. According to Lenise McWhorter, the manager of museum operations, future dates will be scheduled with the participation of the volunteers.

David Zatz founded Allpar in 1998 (based on a site he had begun in 1993-94), after years of writing reviews for retail trades. He has been quoted by the New York Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Detroit News, and USA Today. Before making Allpar a full-time career, he was a consultant in organizational psychology.
