FCA drops summer shutdowns

by David Zatz on

FCA announced that it will drop summer shutdowns for five of its plants in the US and Mexico, and will reduce downtime from two weeks to one.

This is not likely to affect the Toluca plant, currently pushing out Journeys and 500s and expected to convert to Compass production within a year, and will not alter cutbacks at Sterling Heights, which is going back to a single shift.
