A thousand Express Lanes

by David Zatz on

Mopar recently celebrated the opening of its 1,000th Express Lane location in the United States, with Mopar chief Pietro Gorlier welcoming the first official customer. There are now over 1,850 Express Lane dealers around the world.

The Express Lane system lets dealerships do quick, convenient oil changes for customers, and can work on all major makes. US location #1,000, in Bradley, Illinois, has a lounge area, charging stations, WiFi, a free car wash, and nail service once a week, with weekend hours for convenience.  It is the first official standalone Express Lane, a few miles from the sales floor of Taylor CDJR.

David Zatz founded Allpar in 1998 (based on a site he had begun in 1993-94), after years of writing reviews for retail trades.
