by David Zatz on

2016 alfa romeo giulia rear

The Alfa Romeo Giulia, the first car on a new platform and architecture that will also be used by Dodge, has now established itself as the world’s fastest four-door sedan on the Nürburgring circuit, with a record track time of 7:32. The car had previously run on the Nürburgring track, with a manual transmission; the automatic was much faster.

The Viper had previously set a record, but the rules have changed to increase safety, making it hard to compare the two.
