The  Dodge Charger Daytona was launched at Woodward, with the   Dodge Challenger T/A.  The order bank was open in October, for buying the car either with the “new traditional” 5.7 Hemi or the 6.4 Hemi option (“Charger Daytona 392”).

Based on the R/T, the Dodge Charger Daytona adds a 2.75 inch active exhaust system, cold air intake, 2.62 rear gear set, Super Track Pak, SRT body bits including the front and rear fascia, side sills, rear spoiler, and hood, graphics, 20 inch wheels, and heated/cooled logo-embroidered Nappa leather seats, for $40,895 (with destination).

Moving up to the 392 means getting a car based on the Scat Pack, with the add-ons of the standard Charger Daytona package plus Hellcat tires and a 180 mph speedometer. The 485-horsepower Charger Daytona 392 starts at $46,090 including destination.

Reports from Canada indicate that the Charger Daytona is now being produced, so buyers should be seeing them any day now — depending on how long it takes them to travel. Since they won’t be under their own power, but hopping the train or hitching a lift on a truck, that may take some time.
