Chrysler, Dodge, Mopar in Chicago

by David Zatz on

The massive Chicago Auto Show, whose convention center could hold Detroit’s and New York’s with room to spare, won’t just hold three FCA test tracks; it’ll also host three FCA US events, one each for Chrysler and Dodge, during Press Day, and one for Mopar, during Social Media Day.

So far there’s no word on what the events will cover, except for the Chrysler one, which is being held with Braun. Correspondent Jim Choate expects that a mobility-enhanced Pacifica will be shown; currently Chrysler and Dodge minivans can be upfitted for wheelchair users.

New vehicles will be launched by Ford and Mitsubishi, while Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Chevrolet will have news conferences on Press Day. On Social Media Day, Toyota, BMW, Hyundai, Mazda, Nissan, and Volkswagen will have conferences.

By all means, go to Chicago — but wear comfortable shoes.
