Dylan again for Ram ad

by David Zatz on

Ram is highlighting its title as “America’s longest-lasting pickups in two new ads, which launched this weekend. More ads with similar themes will follow.

The ads are set to a custom recording and arrangement of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young,” performed by Anderson East. They center on Ram owners, “from families to farmers to first responders.”

In “Skate,” Ram trucks clear the way for a town to come together to go ice skating on a lake. “Forever Young” looks at values and how Ram enables them.

The “Long Live” Ram campaign includes online advertising as well, with plans for “future lifestyle marketing extensions.” It was created with ad agency Doner.
