Ram 1500 Copper Sport

by David Zatz on

2017 Ram 1500 Copper Sport

Today, Ram will add a “Copper Pearl” cover to its half-ton Sport pickup to create the Ram 1500 Copper Sport. It is, after Ignition Orange, the second stand-out tint on the 2017 Ram 1500 Sport.

The 2017 Ram Copper Sport emphasizes the color with a body-color grille and black accents, with polished aluminum wheels  (22-inch with RWD, 20-inch with 4×4).

Inside, it has copper-colored accent stitching, embroidery, and seat mesh inserts; matching spears and trim rings link with a black headliner and pillars. The truck comes with an Alpine nine-speaker sound system.

Just 3,000 2017 Ram Copper Sports will be made, and all will be Crew Cabs with Hemi V8s; the starting price of $45,630 plus $1,320 destination. They will roll into dealerships later this month.

The Ram Hemi boasts 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, mated to a TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission for an estimated 15 mpg city/22 mpg highway.  The Sport comes with heated high-back bucket seats, a center console, and heated steering wheel.
