Canadian price increases

by David Zatz on

FCA Canada recently sent out new price lists that show increases of around C$250 on the list prices of all vehicles; the wholesale price has gone up by $220 (on most vehicles) to $228.

Many options have also gone up, by around $25-50 on most items — from sunroofs to trailer towing — though some options have gone up further (e.g. the “Max Tow” package on the Jeep JK is now $100 more, at $675).  Numerous paint colors are now a $50 option.  There doesn’t seem to be a pattern; on the JK, tubular steps went up by $95 to $295, while the Freedom Top went up by $45, to $1,195.

The changes are most likely due to changes in the value of the American and Canadian dollars.  Thanks, oh2o
