Dodge “in” on Fate of the Furious

by David Zatz on

Dodge is heavily marketing their involvement in The Fate of the Furious, the eighth Fast & Furious movie in around 15 years. Dodge Chargers and Challengers will once again be prominent in the  movie itself; the original featured a classic Dodge Charger.

The first television ads will begin airing Friday, March 3, including a “Muscle Heaven” spot emphasizing the 2017 Dodge Challenger. Dealer versions cover the Dodge Charger and Challenger, and the Dodge Durango and Journey. A Spanish-language version will run in Hispanic markets.

Dodges are included in The Fate of the Furious licensed products, which run from die-cast to remote control vehicles from Mattel and Jada, as well as the Racing Rivals mobile game from Glu Mobile.

2015’s Furious 7 was one of the fastest movies to reach $1 billion worldwide, and the sixth-biggest global title of all time. The new movie will run from Cuba to the Barents Sea, and New York in between.
