Last chance for DesertHawk

by Michael Volkmann on

It’s the last chance to order a 2017 Jeep Renegade DesertHawk. If you’ve forgotten what that is, from our November 2016 article, it’s a $1,495 package with factory installed rock rails, 17-inch blacked-out wheels, a topographical hood decal, embroidered leather-and-cloth seating, higher-end door accents and console lid, power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic temperature control, 40/20/40 rear seating, and passive entry with a remote.

Michael Volkmann, a mechanical engineer in the steel industry, autocrossed and road-raced Neons. Michael has drag raced his 1971 Duster 340, 2009 Challenger R/T, and Neons, of which he’s owned seven — one SRT4, three ACRs, and three Sport Coupes.
