Windsor loses Transport

by David Zatz on

CNG trucks

The FCA Transportation group at the Windsor plant is being shut down and its local-trucking operations moved to an outside firm, according to a company representative, who wrote:

FCA US confirms that it is winding down its FCA Transport operations in Windsor, Canada. Retirement packages will be offered to eligible employees at the Windsor Assembly Plant, which includes FCA Transport. Those employees who elect not to take the package or are not eligible to retire will be offered positions at the Windsor Assembly Plant.

The move only applies to Windsor.
