The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will be available in 14 exterior colors, using the same palate as the rest of the 2018 Dodge Challenger lineup. Thanks to this handy graphic, we can see the monster Mopar muscle car in every color.
Ten colors are returning from 2017, and two from prior years; there are two new colors.
Colors returning from the 2017 Challenger are Billet Silver, Destroyer Grey, Go Mango, Granite Crystal, Maximum Steel, Octane Red, Pitch Black, TorRed, White Knuckle and Yellow Jacket. B5 Blue and Plum Crazy each return after a year off.
The new colors are F8 Green and Indigo Blue; F8 Green replaces Green Go and Indigo Blue replaces Contusion Blue. Redline Red seems to have been removed from the lineup for 2018.
The addition of the dark F8 Green might come as a surprise after the popularity of both Sublime Green in 2015 and Green Go in 2017, but with the internet going crazy after pictures of Tim Kuniskis’ custom dark green Hellcat Challenger, it makes sense for the company to offer up a darker green for the muscle car crowd.
Every one of the 14 exterior colors for the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon can be fitted with a Satin Black center section, including the hood, roof and deck lid.
Considering that a Demon in red and black seems to be the most fitting, I expect that TorRed (shown above) with the Satin Black trim will be a popular configuration, but historic Mopar muscle car colors like B5 Blue and Plum Crazy will surely rank high on the take rate list.
Surprisingly, the company doesn’t have any plans to offer any special edition colors reserved strictly for the 2018 Demon, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a one-off color for production unit #1 – which will likely be auctioned off for charity sometime after production has begun.
