The other Hellcat: Ram TRX

by David Zatz on

At the New York Auto Show, two Hellcat cars were launched — the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and the Dodge Challenger Demon — and two others, the Challenger and Charger, were shown. But there was yet another Hellcat powered vehicle — a Ram — the TRX concept.

The TRX is “for real,” capable of going at high speeds off-road; it was developed largely to show off basic Ram strengths, including a Jeep-like independent rear suspension. Don’t expect to see it in dealerships; at this point, it’s just a concept.
