Fiat Chrysler (FCA)’s chief marketing officer Olivier Francois wrote that a new “Recalculating” campaign was being run on television, in print, and in various other forms; it describes people “navigating through the many twists and turns of life,” proclaiming “Whatever the destination, with the right compass as a guide, there are a million beautiful ever-changing ways to get us there.”

The Compass has two engines, Fiat’s 160-hp 1.4 turbo and Chrysler’s 180-horsepower 2.4, coupled to a manual transmission, six speed automatic, or nine speed automatic. Highway mileage is the highest for any compact AWD vehicle, at 31 mpg; the car starts at $20,995.
