Cuter Fiat 500s

by David Zatz on

Fiat has added three new appearance packages to the Fiat 500:  Sport Black Trim, Two-Tone, and Abarth Roof, Mirror Cap and Body Stripe.

Sport Black Trim Package, only sold on the Pop, has body-color  fascias and fog lamps, black-trimmed headlamps, a black roof, side sill ground effects, black side-view mirror caps, a black spoiler, black tail lamps, and 16-inch Hyper Black aluminum wheels. Inside, buyers get a black instrument-panel bezel. All that lack of color adds $1,295 to the price.

The two-tone package may be more appetizing, at $295; it too is only sold on the Pop, and lets buyers get a black, red, or white roof with matching mirror caps.

The $495 Abarth Roof, Mirror Cap and Body Stripe Appearance Package, sold (as one might guess) on the Fiat 500 Abarth, also adds a secondary roof color, in black, red, gray, or white; buyers can choose a black, red, gray, or white accent color for the mirror caps, body-side stripe, roof, and spoiler.

The 2017 Fiat 500 line was simplified to cross just three trims: Pop, Lounge, and Abarth. All have an optional automatic transmission ($995), sunroof ($795), and convertible form ($1,495).
