New Roadkill for 2017

by David Zatz on

“Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge,” a highly successful event including drag races, car shows, thrill rides, and dyno testing, will return this year. The organizers will show a Dodge Demon — and might (or might not) race it.  There will also be wheelstander runs and many family activities. A celebrity showdown will have professional racers get behind the wheel.

Spectators and participants may need to register now, since there were 30,000 attendees last year. The cost is $10 per person (on-site, for Pontiac, Michigan residents, $5). Children 12 and under are free. The organizers are going to have a new drag racing format.

Open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the August 12 Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge event includes thrill rides in Dodge Viper, Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, Charger SRT Hellcat, and maybe even Dodge Demons, with live music, food, and other features. Drag racing and Dodge Thrill Rides start at 11:00 a.m. and run to 9:30 p.m.
