Next Ram 2500: uncovered

by David Zatz on

There are always teasers claiming to have caught a new car being tested — but KGP really did catch this one with a completely uncovered grille.

An Allpar source recently wrote that the schedule on the Ram heavy duty trucks has been pushed back, possibly to accommodate factory changes; as a result, the company will have a refresh of their current heavy-duty pickups before the fully re-engineered model hits the streets. Thus, this might not be a next-generation look, but simply a refresh.

Last month, Allpar broke the story that Ram and Cummins were shooting for 1,000 pound-feet of torque, which would easily leapfrog any and all competitors. Other features of the next-generation heavy-duty Rams are still unknown at this point.
