by Chris Vander Doelen on

Ram trucks carried the day again for FCA Canada, where overall November sales were down 8% from the same month last year, but Ram pickup truck sales were up by 3%.

Fiat brand sales plummeted, down 66% to 56 units, from 165 units in November, 2016.

Ram set another new record for the brand in Canada. FCA sold 7,117 pickup trucks in November, up from 6,914 last year. Ram pickup sales are up 12% this year, and Ram overall is up 13% over 2016, thanks to ProMaster selling 259 trucks last month, up from 231 trucks the same month last year. Sales of the ProMaster City are also up 5%.

At Dodge, all the products were down in November, with the Caravan faring best, losing only 3% for the month. Charger was off 60%, down to 126 units from 317 last year; Challenger was down 51%, to 68 units, from 139 last year; Journey was down 32 %, to 999 units from 1,465 last year; Durango was down 22%, to 429 units, from 551 last year.

Jeep had several successes, with the Grand Cherokee sales rose 26%, to 1,632 units, up from 1,299 for November last year. Wrangler was up a whopping 65%, to 1,797 units from 1,090 during November, 2016. But Cherokee was down 37% and Renegade down 54%.

For Chrysler, Pacifica sales gained again, up 17% to 441 units, from 377 last year, and another new monthly record. Year-to-date, Pacifica is up 141% for 2017, to 5,547 units from 2,299 during the same period last year.

Sales of the Chrysler 300, however, dropped 61%, to 124 units from 317 units last year. Year-to-date the 300 is still up 10% for the year.
