Allpar joining AutoGuide

by David Zatz on

Allpar.com has joined the AutoGuide family of automotive Web sites.

The site that became Allpar.com was started in 1994, acquiring its domain name in 1998. Founder David Zatz, then a full-time organizational change consultant, was, and still is, the only formal employee. He wrote, “Without a full team, it’s very hard to keep up with technical issues and competition from Facebook and Wikipedia. AutoGuide’s experience and technical depth are needed for allpar’s long-term survival.”

Dr. Zatz, who will stay on as a forum moderator, will continue to work on organizational research and development, and writing about management and leadership, through Toolpack Consulting.

The transfer includes other Mopar-related sites: dippy.org, valiant.org, moparfins.com, ptcruizer.com, and pentastars.com.
