The Lone Star is Ram’s best seller in Texas; the 2019 Ram 1500 Lone Star brings bright bumpers and door handle centers, a bright grille surround with billet inserts, 18-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps, split rear bench seat, and leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls.   The Lone Star is only sold in Texas.

The 2019 Ram 1500 was a complete redesign. The Lone Star will have four interior trim levels, and a choice of front bench or bucket seats. Option packages include Sport and Black appearance packs, a bed utility group, off-road group, towing packages, and protection and light groups. Specific options include the class-exclusive active level air suspension, electric-locking rear axle, blind spot monitoring, and 20-inch aluminum wheels.

The standard engine, at least at launch, is the Hemi V8; a mild-hybrid version is optional. The V6 mild-hybrid will come along later in the year. Buyers can choose rear or four wheel drive, crew or quad cabs, and short or long beds (the Crew only comes in short-bed form). The new trucks will be sold within the next month and a half, built in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
