FCA bottoms another survey

by David Zatz on

FCA US has come in at the very bottom of the 2018 J.D. Power customer service study, taking five of the bottom six places.

All the FCA US brands, including Fiat, had two stars for service initiation, service advisor, service facility, service quality, and vehicle pickup. Buick and Chevrolet each had five stars across the board.

Proving that a classic American brand can achieve more, Chevrolet tied Mini for second place among mass-market brands — just behind first-place Buick.  GM was the opposite of FCA US, taking three out of the top four places (GMC was #4). Among luxury brands, Cadillac shared third place with Audi and Lexus, tailing only Infinity and Porsche — and even then, in what was likely a statistical dead heat.
