Promised ’18 JL “Off-Road Pages” still in the future

by David Zatz on

According to Off-Road.com, the Jeep Off-Road Pages promised for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL are missing in action for the moment. A Jeep representative said they would be “late availability,”

The site reported that several owners claimed to have had use of the off-road displays, but only for a brief period; the cited owners believe that the feature was removed via an over-the-air “upgrade.”

The pages will appear in the late 2018s, according to a Jeep rep.

At launch, they were included in media release photos, though not in the text, and were reportedly in the feature list on the Jeep.com web site (the feature list does not currently mention the Off-Road Pages).

The Jeep UConnectCares Twitter account told one customer, “Unfortunately, they are now scheduled to launch with the 2019 model year.” A company representative had previously told Off-Road.com that the feature would be available later in 2018. Full story at Off-Road.com
