The first 797-horsepower Challenger Redeyes have been builtby David Zatz on October 3, 2018 at 10:38 am EST Dodge has started making the 2019 Challenger Hellcat Redeye, boasting a nearly-Demon-level 797 horsepower, in its Brampton, Ontario plant. Torque is rated at 707 pound-feet. The supercharged 6.2 liter V8 engine has numerous features tested on the all-out 808/840-horsepower Dodge Challenger Demon. Like the original 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat, the new 797-horse Redeye is the most powerful, quickest, and fastest muscle car ever made; it can do 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds, with a 10.8 @ 131 quarter mile and a 203 mph top speed. The car is set off by a new, functional-dual-snorkel hood, special badging with a sinister red eye on the fender badges, instrument panel, key fobs, and supercharger housing. Inside, buyers get a new 220-mph red speedometer. The car will arrive at dealers “this fall,” according to Dodge. Share me!RedditFacebookTwitterMorePrintTumblrLinkedInGoogle
