Hellcat gets Octane (Edition)

by David Zatz on

The 2019 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Octane Edition is a “factory-custom” edition with a blackout package, inside and out, sold with either black or white paint. The package includes a full-length satin black center stripe (black on black, in buyers specify black paint) with Octane Red accents on each edge, a satin black spoiler, Octane Red brake calipers (six pistons in front, four pistons in rear), red seat belts, black badges all the way around, a black-on-black instrument panel badge, red stitching on the SRT Performance seats with Houndstooth inserts, and gloss black interior accents.

Wrapping up the package are Dark Brushed II interior bezels and 20 x 9.5-inch aluminum-forged Cross Brace wheels, painted Low-gloss Black, adopted from the 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320. These wheels include knurled bead seats to minimize tire slip on the wheel under extreme acceleration

The list price for the package is $1,495 plus the normal cost of the car; it’s available for dealer orders from now through the end of the model year, and will start arriving in dealerships in fall 2019.
