Back in 2010, FCA’s aftermarket performance and OEM parts division introduced the Mopar 10 Dodge Challenger (below) and with the latest Moparized muscle car, the product line is celebrating 10 years of the unique package. The Mopar-branded model chosen has changed from year to year, as has the package as a whole, but like the first edition back in 2010, the Mopar 19 is based on the Dodge Challenger.

“Over the last decade, we’ve customized an impressive group of vehicles with exclusive Mopar performance parts and accessories that our enthusiast customers crave,” said Mark Bosanac, Head of Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care, FCA - North America. “This year we’re commemorating our tenth Mopar build with another unique and collectible Dodge Challenger, which continues to be the modern muscle car every bit as beloved today as the first generation vehicle was 50 years ago.”

Mopar 19 Details

The Mopar 19 is based on the 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack and the package is limited to just 100 units – 90 for the United States and 10 for Canada.

On the outside, the Mopar 19 Challenger features the “Shakedown” graphics that run the length of the car, the Shaker hood package, black hood pins, 20x9-inch forged aluminum wheels with Mopar center caps, valve stem caps and wheel locks. The exterior upgrades are completed with Mopar 19 badging on the rear spoiler and the package can be ordered in Pitch Black or White Knuckle.

Under the hood is the 392-cubic inch Hemi, sending 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque toward the rear wheels by means of the buyer’s choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic. Mopar adds a cold air intake package that is designed to work with the Shaker hood, strut tower braces to help improve handling and silver-coating caps to dress up the engine bay.

Finally, the Mopar 19 Dodge Challenger cabin features performance cloth seats with a two-tone Mopar logo embroidered into the seatback, a unique Mopar 19 badge on the passenger’s side of the dash, premium Berber floormats and bright polish door sill guards.

Also, in addition to the unique attributes of the car, the Mopar 19 Dodge Challenger comes with an Owner’s Kit that includes a “birth certificate” with the build date and serial number, a full-color Mopar 19 information book, a Mopar 19 rendering drawn by the design team and a “unique keepsake with engraved vehicle number”, but we don’t know what that keepsake might be.

As mentioned above, the Mopar 19 will be limited to just 100 units and the MSRP in the United States starts at $45,835, with the first units expected to reach dealerships later this year.
