FCA to use rear-seat reminders on every vehicle

FCA announced that it would use rear-seat reminder systems in every vehicle it makes around the world, though “timing for the global rollout will vary,” presumably as cars are redesigned or updated.

FCA had apparently already made this commitment in the U.S. The company did not provide any details on timing, and only linked to an AutoAlliance statement in which the entire industry pledged to have the reminders in “essentially all cars and trucks by Model Year 2025 or sooner.”
