Well E40, you will in fact have to remove the back seat, package shelf and speakers to get to the top bolts. Believe it or not, this is the easy part. The real work starts with the lower end of the struts. Depending on where you live, corrosion can cause havoc with the large pinch bolts that hold the struts in place and the long bolt that holds the control arm.
