Where are the elect contacts on the left non-power sliding door for the PDL?

All the other locks work except this one although it works OK manually.

I've looked high and low for these and they are not shown or mentioned in the Service Manual.

There were basically 2 styles:
The older 2 contact pads on the lower 'B' pillar with 2 pogo pins on the sliding door. These could get dirty or damaged and lose contact.
The newer flexible wiring harness (looks like a plastic chain) under the door that kept the door electrically connected all the time. These wires could flex, fatigue and eventually break.

Thanks, IC.

So that's what that thing is!! It is going to be fun getting to that cable. Any suggestions? Should I remove the door panel for better access?

I thought it had something to do with power sliding door installation even though mine has manual doors! It is nowhere mentioned in the electrical or body SM sections that I could find?

My '88 SM is a lot better about showing sketches and locations of such things than this newer one.
