1941 Plymouth PT-125 Pickup Fluid Types (Tranny and Rear Axle)

3579 4
I'm having a heckuva time trying to find the correct fluids for the transmission and the axle I should be using in this pickup. I've been told anything from 90w to some type of Hyphoid fluid. I'll be honest I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for. The truck has a 3-speed.

Any thoughts for a point in the right direction of where to find ideas? I wasn't able to find anything on the site through a basic search that led me to a definitive answer.

Thanks!

Lube technologies have advanced and should be back-compatible. I would treat the truck to synthetic SAE 90W hypoid gear oil for the differential and a brass-synchro friendly GL-4 grade manual transmission fluid like Synchro-Shift II, etc.
