Considering my first car was a 65 Impala, which this front end resembles, I find it beautiful.

From that era, I'm more partial to the grille on the 64 Dodge 440 or Polara 500.

Having gotten my drivers license in 1963, when my father was looking at new cars in 1965, I was trying my hardes to get him interested in a '65 Charger. Unfortunately, he was always of the opinon that the Nash brand was highly underrated. I really detested being dropped off at school in our old 1949, 'bathtub' style Nash Ambassador. I always tried to get him to let me out a few blocks short of the school so that I wouldn't be seen.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but I really much preferred the looks of the 65-66 charger to the later 'Coke-bottle' design.

Well, if dad couldn't/wouldn't go for the '66 Charger based on the '65 concept, at least it would look cooler being dropped off at school in a REAL '65 "Charger" model...

Man, that 65 Charger 273 is AWESOME. I'd LOVE to have one of those. I never knew that car even existed!
