Hello,

I am a newbie and am looking at getting a 1967 Monaco that currently has lap belts. I was wondering if it is possible to put shoulder belts in the car? It is a no post car and I am kind of new to all of this.

I know in some other cars there are kits available to place shoulder belts, however, I have not been able to find any information for a kit for this exact car.

Thanks in advance!

Try Wesco - they have all styles of replacement belts, SAE-rated.

I think 1966 was the first year seat belts were required in the US. Shoulder belts came a few years later. To do a retrofit on yours, there would have to be a reinforcement in the roof panel for secure attachment. I don't think one would be there in '67. You'd have to drop the headliner and look.
