Found this blast from the past!

Funny what they considered a "super car" back then.

The grille and back window are re-used from the 1968 Dodge Coronet sedan. My parents owned one; I can recognize those parts.

Grill yes.
Backlight, no.

It’s unique to the 500.
That rear plug and glass was also used
in the Daytona.

That is sure one awesome road test. And it seems to me that Dodge was very seriously intent on beating Ford, and everybody else, in NASCAR. I caught that the narrator referenced Funk & Wagnals, much like the TV show Laugh In.

Dodge released the car too soon, allowing Ford time to make the Talladaga and Cyclone Spoiler II.
