Buttoned up the transmission, changed the engine oil again, and took it for a test drive. Eight quarts of ATF+4 seems to have done the trick. I still have one more Mopar Performance filter and gasket package from the stack I bought at Carlisle years ago. I'll put 50 to 100 miles on it and service the transmission again. That should ensure that virtually all sludge has been removed. Plus, it'll give me time to find different 10-24 by 2.25" screws. I found Phillips on Amazon and bought them because I needed them in a hurry. Somebody must sell torx or even hex head.
