Buttoned up the transmission, changed the engine oil again, and took it for a test drive. Eight quarts of ATF+4 seems to have done the trick. I still have one more Mopar Performance filter and gasket package from the stack I bought at Carlisle years ago. I'll put 50 to 100 miles on it and service the transmission again. That should ensure that virtually all sludge has been removed. Plus, it'll give me time to find different 10-24 by 2.25" screws. I found Phillips on Amazon and bought them because I needed them in a hurry. Somebody must sell torx or even hex head.

Yesterday, I took it to Freestate Auto Repair in Frederick, MD and had the tailpipes modified so that the tips fit properly in the valance and got the A/C charged. Good work, fairly priced.

Still waiting for a back ordered headliner to replace the one I messed up.

After an accident back in '89 that partially collapsed the quarter panel and the recent quarter panel replacement, I couldn't get the driver side rear window top adjusted out far enough. I finally pulled the adjuster out of the car and flipped the sliding part around and gained about an extra 1/4" of adjustment. Just what I needed to get the glass where it needed to be.

When I put the grille together, I was missing a headlight door bushing. I finally found another one in my stash and decided to put it in today. It was so much easier when the bumper was off the car.

I had a similar issue with my Valiant Thread, most of my pictures were gone

I finally received the replacement headliner I ordered in October and it's now too cold to deal with it.

Warmer temps meant it was time to pull the Charger out of hibernation and take another run at the headliner. First, I have to remove the remnants of the first failed attempt.

I pulled the wheel/tire assemblies one at a time, scrubbed the tires, baked them dry in the sun, polished the wheels, and gave them a coat of tire shine.

I hope you're correct. They were pretty brown after sitting all winter, but that may have been decaying tire shine from the tire shop that installed them.

Even my black sidewall BFGs on my Gladiator would turn brown. It's really bad when you can notice it on a black tire.

It's a shame because BFG tires, especially the Radial TA for classic muscle cars looks so nice.

Bondo is not supposed to be applied thicker than 1/8" for that reason. Bodywork is supposed to be done such that no filler thicker than that is required.
Also, bondo is porous, so prep underneath around and on top of bondo is critical. I prefer to use JB Weld epoxy, it's virtually non-porous, tough and sandable.
