1989 Dodge Shadow ES

Hi Guys,

Just picked up my 89 Shadow ES today, and drove almost four hours straight. It ran like a champ. It has 62,000 original km, so everything works great, but I was curious to know the stock boost on the car the boost gauge was saying 5psi or so and vacuum when warm was 15 until you would let off the gas it would go higher. Does this seem right? I couldn't hear the turbo either like I was able to on my eagle talon{running 21lbs boost}. I plan on doing your basic mods as suggested by some of the forum memebers already. But I just want to know what to expect form the car before I get started.

Thanks
Curtis

Stock boost should be 9psi. You car should be a 2.5 Turbo 1 non intercooled, which had the Mitsu Turbo on it. They spool fast and every car with that had the MitsuTurbo on it, I really couldn't hear like the Garrett turbos.
