Hi, I have a 1990 New Yorker Landau. I need to replace the speaker in the driver's door (and I had the door panel off before), but I can't remember where the screws are. I found the two at the bottom of the panel, but I can't find what else is holding the panel on. Thanks!
Are you sure the door panel has to come off? Most cars, you just unscrew the speaker grill from the door panel to get at the mounting screws for the speaker.
The trim panel with the grille in it pops off - it has four clips holding it on. You do have to remove the courtesy lamp lens to get it off, but that's about it.
No need to remove the whole trim panel. You can't even do it without removing the speaker grille panel first, anyway. It has screws in behind there holding the armrest on.
