and the headlight doors will not open when turned on.

I'm thinking it's a fuse or some relay has tripped.

or.. similar to the ATC reset.. there's some odd stand on one foot, turn key while patting head dance I need to do .. lol

no. the chime does not sound when the keys are not in the ignition.

the motor is good. refurbed with the bushings and worked fine up until this issue.

where's the bcm located?

that's what I thought. thank you as always OW. Going to check that first thing in the am. I have sold the car to my next door neighbour. He had done some body work which included working in that pass side footwell. i'm sure he's pulled or bumped a wire. I'll post my results in the am.

OW. that was it.. one of the plugs wasn't seated properly into the BCM. took both out. blew out the terminals and harnesses with air. plugged back in, mounted. problem solved.
