Well I have had two 3.3s and a 4.0L and they all have gotten 19.5-20.5 highway/city combo.peterjon1 said:Actually, there were quite a few in the snow belt, even though it really wasn't needed. There are still a number of AWD Chevy Astro vans around.
If I recall correctly, AWD units were about 2% of all sales. So yeah not that many.Jetmeck said:Ok thanks so thats makes me wonder how rare AWD is cause I have never seen one ?
AWD in a minivan..........I'll bet they sold a lot of them.....lol
Our '00 T&C Ltd AWD with the 3.8L wasn't all that bad. Easily 24 mpg highway, but usually 25-26 mpg. Local driving is where it was not so good - averaged 15-16 mpg running around the county. But considering a FWD minivan only got 17 or 18 in the same conditions, 16 isn't all that bad, all things considered.Jetmeck said:Well I have had two 3.3s and a 4.0L and they all have gotten 19.5-20.5 highway/city combo.
I would hate to think what an AWD all the time minivan did on gas.....................
