Not sure this is the right place to post this but here goes.. I have a 2000 dodge neon with the 2.0L the motor blew up and i bought a used motor from a local classifieds, the guy I bought it from said it wouldn't work in his 98 neon because it was for a 2000 neon.. well the problem is the 2000 neon crankshaft sensor is on the exhaust side of the engine right by the oil filter, the engine that I bought has the crankshaft on the intake side of the engine.. Can anyone on here tell me what car the engine I bought came out of? I cant find anything online about a 2.0 with the crankshaft sensor on the intake side of the engine.. Please help, I would like to get the engine that I just bought back online and sold, it is super clean with only 50,000 miles on it.

is it SOHC or DOHC? because the Diamond Star Motors 2.0Ls (Eagle Talon/Plymouth Laser/Chrysler Sebring Coupe) had the Reversed flow Cylinder Head.
