LOL there is rust all right. behind front mud flaps and passenger side between door and rear wheel. I believe it was garaged. would explain the good colour still and the rust behind the mud flaps. park inside and it all melts over and over.

I will have to try to find where these headphones plug in! I know there was one fancier stereo with AV plugs but I dont see any offhand.

Ohh, I did not look that closely. Those years Caravans in the rust belt; that is not considered bad. My door was bad and I garaged it every night.

 

I think that is why this van has rust problems. I think it was garaged, probably in a heated garage, and never cleaned

So far Ive put almost 5k kms on it already. Hasnt missed a beat. Invested in studded winter tires for it. Thinking of upgrading the radio to something fancy but its not high on the list.

I didnt get a picture of it but I used the van to pull an enclosed trailer for moving. Worked well, mileage was not great though. I like this van has a 2" receiver and a 7 pin connector and trailer brake controller. The previous owner must have had a camper.

Also pulled this shady load lol. That chain link acted like a sail. Got just as bad fuel mileage as the enclosed trailer lol

So the wife and I were cleaning the van today and guess what we found!! THE HEADPHONES!!! I was digging through the back cubby holders etc looking for them but never thought there was a tray in the console that lifted up! Found all kinds of things in there!! I did find a bunch of lights with black twist things on them in the back cubby holders though....

All cleaned up and headed home. Seriously thinking of fixing the cancer. This van just gets better and better!

And I am a REALLY NICE GUY.... I found a stack of blank cheques in the console to... I coulda been bad but I tore them all up.

And I cleaned out the console, found the trailer brake controller manual on cd in there to lol

 

Does anyone know if the steeringwheel controls are supposed to light up with the headlight/parklights on?

 

The steering wheel controls do NOT light up.
