Hey guys! I have an 88 Daytona Shelby Z as a project car (which is fully functional!) so I know how amazing the Allpar community is!

Anyway, I'm considering getting another car. I need something that looks nice (my Daytona is still without an interior and needing tranny work) and that won't bog me down with issues so I can keep working on my Daytona when I have time. I've found a Sebring that looks pretty good, but I don't know much about Sebrings. My question is, when I go to see the car, what should I look for in terms of common issues? I know most of the issues that tend to appear on the K platform, but this is a little different.

Any and all advice is appreciated!

EDIT:
Never mind the link, looks like it got taken down about the same time that I was writing this.

Great information! If the timing chain/water pump hasn't been done in the past, would changing them fix this issue?

If sludge were a problem with these engines then it would show on the dipstick then, correct? If the car is above 100 000 kms and isn't showing any sludge, should it be safe as long as I keep up on maintenance, or is it still possible for it to come up because of something else?

As for shock mounts, I don't mind replacing those myself if they're not too horrible to get to.
