I've got a 2002 PT 4 door convertible done by Newport Convertible Engineering. My understanding is they built 54 of them for Chrysler to test the waters for a production car but the cost of $9000 over the base price was prohibitive. I've looked and never found much info on them other than a Road & Track article. Not sure of the value or collectability of the car, but repairs can be expensive, like the roof ($4500) , there were no available patterns or kits.

No help at all, called them looking for info and to see if I could get a pattern for the roof, they just told me they have no information or parts for my car.

You need to find a person that does custom canopies for boats and such, a retired guy near where I live does this as a hobby and does very nice work.

There are companies that can make custom convertible tops but I imagine they would be expensive and would need to have your car to create a pattern from your old top and do the installation. I searched "custom convertible tops" and found a few. Owners of factory PT Cruiser convertibles may have to go this route for replacement tops, too. I understand that nobody but Chrysler made them.

The tops for the Newport conversion were manufactured by them (Newport) which is why I'm have a reputable upholstery shop remove the present roof to use as a pattern to make and install a new one to the tune of $4500.
