2011 3.6 oil filter housing valve

Dorman makes a replacement with spring and the cage. It's a common problem. Any auto parts store should have it. It just snaps in.
To prevent breakage in the future, two things:
1) Remove the air intake hose to allow the filter to be lifted straight out without tilting it around the hose.
2) Don't overtorque the cap to the oil filter housing - 25 Newton-meters, or 18 ft-lbs, is the spec.
