2012-2014 Ram Laramie Limited: luxury pickups

Starting in 2012, Ram pickups gained a new flagship for luxury: the Ram Laramie Limited. Like the Laramie Longhorn, it had leather seating, but its piano black interior trim and understated badging stood in contrast to that more extroverted truck. The Limited stood apart with its body-color front fascia, fog lamps, and matching, and painted rear bumper (except Ram Laramie Limited 2500 and 3500 in white and silver, which had chrome bumpers). Billet inserts came from the Ram Sport, but chromed parts included the grille, body strips, mirrors, door handles, and side steps. Engine and model line badges were taken off entirely; the tailgate badging was just a chrome Ram's Head logo and the small word "Limited."

Wheels were different on the 1500 and Heavy Duty trucks: the 1500 had 20 inch forged aluminum wheels with painted silver pockets, while the 2500 and 3500 had, ironically, smaller 17-inch polished aluminum. The colors at launch were black, silver metallic, white, deep red (pearl), gray metallic, and blue; the 2500 and 3500 had just the black, silver, white, and gray metallic.

Inside, both trucks shared dark gray Natura Plus leather seats and engraved details, with contrasting medium graystone leather piping and stitching. The center console was topped with a soft, double French-stitched full-leather lid. Door trim was wrapped in leather, along with the steering wheel, armrest uppers, console lid, and instrument panel brow.

The Ram Laramie Limited's gauge cluster was accented with pad-print chrome rings and imprinted with "Designed in Detroit." Gauge needles were finished in liquid graphite. The truck also had LED lighting at the footwell and inside door handles, and a full-length light to illuminate lower map pockets, front and rear.
Berber carpet floor mats had medium graystone accent stitching; the rear seatback map pockets had flaps with metal buckles. Brushed-silver Ram-branded door sill plates were designed to resist scuffing.

Ram Laramie Limited came with a navigation system, remote start, back-up camera, power/memory adjustable pedals, heated steering wheel, front ventilated and heated seats, and rear heated seats. It was sold on the Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500, single and dual rear wheel, Crew Cab and Mega Cab.
