2012 Chrysler 300C Executive / 300C Luxury Series
The Chrysler 300C Luxury Series (née Executive), adorned with high-grade trim, and the
363 horsepower Hemi, the brand's flagship. Brand chief Olivier Francois wrote that the hand-sanded wood, hand-stitched leather dash, two-tone Nappa leather seats, UConnect Touch, and unique 20-inch wheels, "our flagship provides passengers with the sense of pure old-school craftsmanship combined with innovative technology."
The paint on the New York Auto Show prototype was a deep metallic brown, giving the illusion of depth, a style we haven't seen for some years. The two-toned interior, not done justice by the blue and white spotlights, looked quite luxurious in person. The leather was soft, the wood... obviously real. Not everyone liked the effect, though it must be said that it cuts sun glare.
The Chrysler 300C Executive Series had a dark brown or black leather-wrapped instrument panel, cluster brow, center console side panels and upper front- and rear-door panels. Nappa leather covered the armrests and bolster. Two-tone brown or black seats were wrapped in Nappa leather; both driver and front passenger had 12-way power seats with ventilation, and heat for both front and rear passengers. Wood was either brown or "Pore Gray."
Chromed trim was replaced with a platinum chrome finish; the exterior included a "platinum-chrome" finished grille surround with matching blades (late availability).
Amenities included high-end telematics, color trip computer, heated steering wheel, adjustable pedals, power rear sunshade, 18-ounce berber floor mats with nubuck trim, satin chrome lower door sills, dual heated/cooled cup holders, ambient lit foot well lighting, illuminated interior door handles and map pockets, and power-folding chromed exterior auto-dimming mirrors with memory.
The 2012 Chrysler 300C Executive Series models started on sale in the fall of 2011, in rear and all wheel drive.
