That back end is a bit plain.

The front of it never really bothered me, but what in the world were they thinking with the back of that thing? It's like they just completely gave up after drawing the front of it. It's just a gigantic unremarkable slab of metal with an extremely weird bumper cutout.

The back end reminds me of a Chevy Traverse.

The Limited has grey plastic on the outside?! Didn't they learn from Daimler?!

I'll agree with Erik - it was the first thing I thought of, too - and then I thought "Kia Sportage".

Moving the Jeep badge from above the rear view camera to below it would help to break it up a little bit. Moving the license plate space there would help more.

Looking at the still images, the CHEROKEE badge on the doors looks blantantly Photoshopped in place - the angle is wrong on several images, the perspective isn't right, and on some images (and on the B-roll video) it's not even there at all - like on the original teaser images.

The grille is part of the hood and extends down to the bumper - I'm not sure how or why I missed that before. Or did I? No - it was from one of the mule pics where it looked to be - and may have been - more of a "captive hood" like on the Dart.

That looks like Photoshop at work.

Any way, I like the look of the Trailhawk better...

I agree with your reference to the Traverse. However I am not bothered by the use of grey plastic on the lower parts of CUV/SUV's and I think our treatment to the tailpipes is much more modern and upscale looking.

Lighting differences or Photoshopping - one or the other.

I think Erik and I were thinking the previous-gen Traverse - not the new one.

The back really looks unfinished and like it's missing something. And it really looks disproportionate from certain angles. I held out hope that I'd like it better once I saw the official pics, but I think I like it less now.

I think they thought about the After Market by Mopar so the Rear probably has a Rear Spare Tire holder there. because there is alot of "Space" there below the Rear wipper, and above the License plate.

The pictures were at least opened in Photoshop on the 12th. It's also amazing how much meta-data these files have.

"Application: Adobe Photoshop CS6 (Macintosh)"

Looks like some late-night touch ups on the 12th (picture was taken Feb 7th).

It would still block the rear view camera (if so equipped). Not sure where you'd mount it - since it would have to swing away sideways to allow the hatch to open.
