It appears that the new Chrysler 200 for 2017 limited run will get a special trim option with an Alloy color appearance replacing some of the chrome trim with a golden alloy color.

Rumor has it it will be available in White, Silver, and Black with Black cloth or leather interior.

Ahh - yes - this was posted months ago. It appears it will appear for 2017, and a new MOPAR side stripe option will appear too in black or silver.

Interesting that this was shown in January, but will not be available until almost a year later.

Looks very Asianish for those in China... interesting.
Interesting point...

The 75th Anniversary Jeeps have a similar package with low-gloss bronze trims pieces and wheels:

EDIT: It actually looks really sharp on the Jeeps. I really-really-really wanted a Jungle Green 2016 Renegade 75th Anniversary Edition but saved a bunch of money and got more features by settling for a 2015 leftover (plain old "Glacier Metallic" 2.4L Latitude 4x4 model).

Isn't 200 going away next year? What is the point?

Speaking of, what was the point of the new 1980 Volaré/Aspen nose?

I presume that 200s built after September, or so, will be considered 2017s.

Production ends in December.

They are going to build inventory to last for the first half of 2017.

To reduce the number of unique parts for these cars so they used the fenders and bumpers of the Diplomat which was still going strong.
