While there is the excuse the engines aren't ready yet, there is no excuse for the poor build quality. And this is why some of us keep harping on quality issues. Fix the simple stuff!

Though all-in-all, the review was better than the lead-in made me think it would be.

I find it very ironic that the company that could not find a way to differentiate both a Chrysler and Dodge in the same space (midsize sedan, minivan) has somehow convinced everyone that three Jeeps in basically the same space are sufficiently differentiated, especially in the US where a difference of a few inches in measurement mean very little.

I think people are letting their knowledge of component sharing cloud the evidence of their own eyes. Park a Renegade and Compass together. Get in, look around. They're pretty different products, aimed at different buyers.
Just because they look different and drive a bit different does not people will not cross shop them. Especially when someone's purchase starts with price rather than attraction to a certain vehicle.

I think they use 0-60 is for something every car has to do: get on the freeway & be at speed by the end of the ramp. They're not necessarily un-necessary times, though obviously ramps vary in length, not to mention the stop-light ones, which it definitely helps to get up to 60 faster.
Yeah, that's the problem. Traffic doesn't make an exception for Jeeps when it is time to merge or swerve or stop.
