Well, here we have the 2022 models. Chrysler seems to have adapted the old 1980's M-body strategy - lowest bid after qualifying. There are few significant changes in any of the 2022 Charger, Durango, or trucks.

In some ways this can seem frustrating, but for government fleet (and parts/service) managers, this is actually good news. Continuity between model years means simplified ordering, parts inventory, and servicing.

One amusing anomaly is paint - the Charger has usually had a larger palette of colors, and this year is no different. There are 19 different shades available for the Charger Pursuit, and (I suspect it's something of an error/omission) only 6 for the Rango.

Lastly, pricing is probably about to go a bit nuts, as Chrysler is not protecting prices beyond existing awarded contracts.

Here's the link. Each model has its own buyers guide and upfitter guide.

I see they now fit V-speed rated tires on the Durango Pursuit....did they raise the speed limiter like they did with the civilian Durango equipped with "tow and go" package?
Last year, 2021, it was raised to 130 mph. Same tires as the Ford (actually a bit shorter in diameter than what the Rango usually runs). The Tow Prep package I believe is standard on the Durango and 1500/2500/3500 SSV and Durango Pursuit.

That's much better and competitive than the 118 or so it was limited to before.
It's a little funny. The top speed of the '98 - '11 Crown Vic squads were set (electronically limited) at either 129 (3.27) or 119 (3.55 rear). Somehow that was fine with everyone for the years those cars were in-service. The Tahoes and Expeditions also came in within a mile or three of 120, as did all the old warhorses of the 80's. The exceptions being the 140 mph '94-'96 Chevy, the 135 mph '95-'97 Ford (and '02-'04 Intrepid), and the '06-'10 149 mph V8 LX squads. Just as amusing,, Ford would like us to believe that their 2022 F150 Response is fantastic, or something, at 120 ...

So along comes the Durango SSV in 2012. It was set at 118 for two reasons - tires, and the overall mission as a support vehicle for agencies (K9, accident reconstruction, CMV inspectors, etc). This was fine, but as the 2013-2019 Explorer began to fall out of favor, and the Tahoe got more and more expensive - the demand for a Pursuit Durango finally got FCA's attention. And what did they do? Easy! They put 2019 Pursuit lipstick on a 2019 SSV pig. The aftermarket was quick to come up with certain conversion pieces, but Chrysler was quick to rectify that in 2021, by borrowing from the Charger parts bin - not just for the Rango, but also all SSV models. That was a very positive change, especially for the HD pickups.

GM granddaughter just this AM received her first USED Equinox. GM has always provided NEW every 6 months for higher ups. She turned in her Yukon after a year and 45,000 miles. She has never driven a company car for a year. GM is woefully short in new vehicles. Granddaughter is part of the Buick-GMC Division.

Yep, they were taking back their used "new" vehicles they give to hire ups in good condition to sell and giving used ones in return. I know before this they were talking about letting them drive their new stuff for a year before taking it back

The chip shortage also helps here with old models as production is limited on all models everywhere so if you need a vehicle you're more apt to buy what is available.
Using the dominant West Germanic language and the most spoken second language. Am I missing something? I also speak the second and ninth most spoken languages. Spanish and German.
